9月10日に開催されるハンガリー極真🇭🇺ヨーロッパ選手権大会の先日の記者会見で流れた私のメッセージ動画が何を言っているのかと多少の問い合わせがありましたので、英文で投稿します。

カルマン師範が亡くなって一年。
ハンガリー極真の空手家たちが奮い立つ日ですね。

August 3 is the anniversary of the late Shihan Furko Kalman’s death.

I have received some inquiries about what my message video that played at the recent press conference for the Hungarian Kyokushin🇭🇺 European Championships to be held on September 10 said, so I am posting it in English.

It has been a year since Shihan Kalman passed away.
It is an exciting day for Hungarian Kyokushin karate practitioners.

I am YUI from Kyokushinkaikan Jinshin Dojo.
I would like to congratulate you on the European Championships, which will be held on September 10 in Szolnok, Hungary.

I first met Kalman Shihan about 40 years ago at the Kyokushinkaikan Sohonbu Dojo in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.

Kalman Shihan was a soldier who came to Japan to study karate, and I was an uchi-deshi of Sosai Oyama.

Kalman Shihan was very passionate about his training and not only practiced hard, but also studied and researched in various ways and wrote everything down in a notebook.

Kalman Shihan also participated in the uchideshi training that Oyama Sosai was in charge of, and I also practiced with him.

After the training was over, Kalman Shihan would keep a detailed record of all the training and organize it in a notebook.
I helped him with this and answered his questions.
It became Kalman Shihan’s daily routine to write down the details of each practice session.

Oyama Sosai loved and cherished Kalman Shihan’s enthusiasm.
Kalman Shihan was not only a practitioner of karate, but he also went out to eat with Oyama Sosai in his private life, so he inherited not only the spirit of karate but also the spirit of a martial artist.

I have been practicing karate for a long time, and I have seen many karate students from abroad, but I have never seen anyone who practiced, studied, and worked so hard in Japan as Kalman Shihan did.
I think that Kalman Shihan is in a very fortunate position to have brought this to Hungary and to have passed it on to his many students, as well as to the Hungarian Kyokushin community, who have inherited it.

The European Championships will be held on September 10, and many athletes who inherited Oyama Sosai’s Kyokushin Karate and Kyokushin spirit will gather to fight. I am sure they are looking forward to this tournament.

It is very important that the tournament is held in memory of Kalman Shihan, and that it is held in his home town of Szolnok.
I used to come to Hungary every year and spend a month each summer in Szolnok, so it has become a very memorable place for me.

I am really looking forward to it because it will be a great fight with many players participating.

The original Kyokushin organization has been broken up so much that we do not know where the original Kyokushin Karate has gone, but in Hungary, the original Kyokushin Karate of Oyama Sosai, the founder of Kyokushin Karate, still remains in this very precious area. Please be proud of it and keep practicing hard.
The tournament will be held on September 10, but on the following day, September 11, there will be a Kyokushin Karate seminar that I will be in charge of, and I would like to share Oyama Sosai’s original Kyokushin Karate with everyone.
